When will I start to see results from Custom Clear?

How is Custom Clear different from Traditional Braces?

Does Custom Clear hurt?

Custom Clear is not a painful process! You may feel pressure on the teeth when you first put in a new set of aligners, but as the teeth begin to move, you will notice that the pressure decreases. How long does Custom Clear treatment take?

The Custom Clear timeline will look different for everyone depending on case difficulty and patient compliance. On average, we see that Custom Clear treatment takes approximately one year. Dr. Emily Furrow or Dr. Derek Furrow will talk specifically with each patient about their expected timeline.

How often do I have to wear them?

To achieve the desired teeth movement, the patient will need to wear the aligners daily for about 22 hours. Drs. Emily Furrow or Derek Furrow recommend removing the aligners only when the patient is eating, drinking, or brushing their teeth.

Who is eligible for Custom Clear?

Teens or adults in good health are candidates for Custom Clear aligners. Periodontal disease must be treated before you can be fitted for your Custom Clear aligners. Custom Clear can correct mild to moderate gaps in the teeth, crowding, misalignment, overbites, underbites, and crossbites. Conventional braces may be best for you if you have severe dental issues.
